Wear It Pink Day at West Midlands House
Last Friday, the 19th of October, otherwise known as Wear It Pink Day, saw staff and clients alike at West Midlands House come together for Breast Cancer Awareness month to raise money in support of the charity, ‘Breast Cancer Now‘.
Although raising money for a FANTASTIC cause, everyone involved managed to have an enjoyable time and looked great all uniformed in whatever it was they wearing which was pink, as shown below.
To commemorate the day properly, the West Midlands House team dressed up the Reception area with banners, balloons and pink treats for everyone to enjoy, which as imagined, went down a storm with just about everyone who entered the building, leaving only crumbs by the end of the day.
At 11:30am, we gathered a group of some willing clients who were dressed up for the day, for a collective photo which we then sent out across our social platforms to share with our anyone who couldn’t be there and to voice our support further.
Overall, we all had a wonderful day and managed to raise a grand total of £60.72 for Breast Cancer Research. Thank you to those who got involved and to anyone who donated money throughout the day. We’d call that a true success!
